Dr. Mohammed Qaisi
Mohammed Qaisi, DMD, MD received his dental degree at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He then obtained his medical degree and subsequently completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Louisiana State University-Shreveport. He went on to complete a fellowship in Oral-Head & Neck Oncology/Microvascular Surgery at the University of Maryland. Dr Qaisi has numerous publications and his clinical interests include oral cancer, trans-oral robotic surgery (TORS) and microvascular free tissue transfer for reconstruction of the head and neck.
Dr. George Panos
George Panos, DDS acheived his dental degree at the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry in 1990 after obtaining a bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He completed a one year internship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 1995 at Cook County Hospital. Dr. Panos then joined the faculty at Cook County Hospital as an part time attending in 1995 and become full time in 2012. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is active in the dental community, as well, having taught CPR, lectured on multiple topics and served as president of the Hellenic American Dental Society in 2005.
Dr. Mark Grevious (Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery)
Mark Grevious, MD, FACS is a double-board certified plastic surgeon. For almost a decade Dr. Mark Grevious has been one of Chicago’s premier plastic & reconstructive surgeons – tackling some of the most challenging cases as Chairman of the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Cook County’s John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital. He is frequently asked to speak on all aspects of plastic & reconstructive surgery and is published in books as well as leading industry journals.
Dr. Julie Laverdiere
Julie Laverdiere Beck, DDS is board certified by the American Board of Oral &
Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Illinois in Urbana. She then completed her dental degree at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1990. Dr. Laverdiere Beck completed a general practice residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Her Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery specialty training was performed at the University of Illinois, Michael Reese, West Side VA and Cook County Hospitals. During her residency, Dr. Laverdiere Beck was appointed chief resident. Currently, she is on the faculty of University of Chicago Medical School and Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Dr. Laverdiere Beck has lectured on multiple topics, including oral pathology, bone grafting and medical emergencies in the dental office.
